Gloria is one of the most iconic disco songs of the 80s, made famous by Laura Branigan’s powerful vocals and high-energy performance.
Fun fact: the song actually started out as an Italian pop/folk track by Umberto Tozzi in 1979. A few years later, producers reworked it into a disco anthem for Branigan, and it quickly became one of the decade’s biggest hits.
